Sunday Service - with Evangelist Tshepo
Today’s service began on a wonderful note, clothed with the glory of God. A powerful time of intercession and worship commenced the proceeding where the church lifted and opened their hearts before God’s throne of mercy. The testimonies of the day were evidence of God’s marvelous works in the lives of His people. Through a short yet impactful teaching, God enabled His servant once again to deliver a message that sank the church into a moment of sober reflection, regarding ‘sin as the number one enemy of man.’ The servant of God unfolded the message saying; “The ultimate reason why God blesses you is solely for the salvation of your soul hence the first thing He does when encountering Him is forgiving your sins. He is salvation-conscious and cares about your soul! Therefore, it is important to note that when you silence sin you equally silence the devil’s work in your life because sin on its own is a tool in the hand of the devil. In other words, when you entertain sin that alone creates an atmosphere for the devil to manifest in your life! On the other hand, purity of heart and righteousness creates an atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to manifest in one’s life. Therefore, staying away from sin as a Christian in truth is for your advantage. The Psalmist said: “Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me. I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would have not listened; but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer.” [Psalm 66:16-19]... the opposition they may face. The scripture says:
The Psalmist said: “…𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑛𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑡 𝑚𝑦 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑑 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑜𝑖𝑙; 𝑚𝑦 𝑐𝑢𝑝 𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑓𝑙𝑜𝑤𝑠.” [Psalm 23:5]. For this reason, the Lord declared and marked this day to be the Sunday of Overflow and it was an experience that unfolded beautifully from the beginning to the end. The service began with a wave of praise and worship that filled the Sanctuary, drawing hearts into a moment of sober reflection. The atmosphere shifted as testifiers, one after the other, took turns to share God’s undeniable power that touched different areas of their lives. His able servant eventually graced the altar and assured congregants that the power within them; their faith in God, will enable them to be so blessed to a point that the blessing will overflow to others or those around them. In his faith building message, Evangelist Tshepo cited the following scripture: “𝑁𝑜𝑤 𝑡𝑜 𝐻𝑖𝑚 𝑤ℎ𝑜 𝑖𝑠 𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑑𝑜 𝑒𝑥𝑐𝑒𝑒𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑙𝑦 𝑎𝑏𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑙𝑦 𝑎𝑏𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑤𝑒 𝑎𝑠𝑘 𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑘, 𝑎𝑐𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑝𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑘𝑠 𝑖𝑛 𝑢𝑠…” [Ephesians 3:20]. Drawing inspiration from the very scripture His able servant said: The scripture says:
God has carried us through another week, bringing us to a new Sunday with new mercies. Congregants came with hearts ready to settle in the presence of God and worship Him. Beginning with a moment of intercession, they plunged into a deep level of introspection before God. In the process, choristers led the church into a moment of worship, returning all the glory to the Almighty through powerful songs of worship. Testimonies of the day left congregants encouraged in their faith and with precision, Evangelist Tshepo delivered a powerful message, on the deeper meaning of discipleship, obedience and sacrifice. His able servant said:
